Below is some useful information in advance of your visit.

Directions

Post Code:

HR6 9DN, Sat Nav will lead you down the hill from where the front gates are. You will see brown signs from the main A44 road and also from Eardisland to the North of where we are situated.

From Hereford (13 miles) : Take the A4110 North via Canon Pyon. Keep on this road for around 4 miles after Canon Pyon until you reach a Y Fork in the road just over a humpback bridge. Take a left at this fork and follow this narrow road for around a mile until you reach a crossroads. Go straight on at the crossroads onto the A44 towards Pembridge, Kington and Rhayader. Take the second turning right (marked for Burton Court) and follow the signs.

From Leominster (5 miles) : Follow the signs to Rhayader (A44). At traffic lights proceed up the hill and go straight on at roundabout keeping Morrisons supermarket on your left. After a few hundred yards the road Y forks take a left here and stay on the A44 for 4 miles and you will see the signposts for Burton Court.

Taxis

Below is a list of recommended local taxi firms who can transport you to your local accommodation. We have business cards of these firms, and others, behind the bar so please ask if you need assistance. Taxis always park up at the front door. It is always wise to book up your taxi earlier in the day to save waiting late at night. If a coach has been arranged then it would be best to liaise with the people organising to check pick up and drop off times.

Leominster (5 miles East of BC) – Blue Line Taxis 07811 148411

Arrival

You can unload passengers and luggage at the front door. We would be very grateful if you would then park in the main car park around the back. There is also an overflow car park down past the stable block. Guests can also leave down this back drive back onto the main A44 road.

Parking

We have ample parking down past the stable block and of course the parking is free. If attending an event at Burton Court you are welcome to leave your car overnight and collect it on the following morning.

Parents with babies & young children

We are parents too so we understand that kids can be kids. We have a high chair here and our chairs can be used to attach some booster car seats too for dining. In addition, we have baby changing facilities located in the disabled washroom.

Guests with specific dietary requirements

If you have any specific dietary requirements please inform the organisers of the event you are attending as soon as possible so that they can inform the caterers

Guests with disabilities

For wheelchair users we have a separate entrance through the servants wing into the house. An accessible toilet is located down here too. Once inside everything is on the same level on the ground floor. Most areas of the garden are accessible as well. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss any other considerations or specific requirements for your visit.

WiFi

WiFi is available in all the main rooms downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs.

Pets

We have a family pet here, Millie is a friendly border collie and is very good at entertaining the kids, if you want her around. If not we will keep her well away during proceedings. By prior agreement we can allow a wedding couple to bring their own dog for their big day.

Finish Time

The bar is open til 12:30am with guests welcome to stay until 1am. Make sure you have booked up a taxi if you are not staying over.

We have two elegant Regency bedrooms available for guests and we will have a third bedroom available soon. Accommodation

A warm welcome on arrival at Burton Court. Although there were small parties, we felt that we were at a ‘Big Party’ as everyone joined together after eating. A traditional setting for a fun Christmas party!
