The earliest recorded use of Burton Court was in 1402 when the Prince of Wales, later to become King Henry V stationed his troops to watch the movements of Owen Glendower.

Nowadays the medieval Great Hall and adjoining rooms can be used in a more civil way for all types of usage of functions and events.

Versatile Venue

Over the years we have provided the setting for fashion shows, photography shoots, political fundraising and local community events such as music recitals, concerts, Scottish dancing and ceilidh. As well as the usual day conferences in quiet rooms laid out to your specification.

The quiet motorway free roads of Herefordshire make it a particular favourite of motoring enthusiasts, and we have been used for Morgan car rallies and car launches for Citroen and Range Rover.

Please accept my thanks for a wonderful awards luncheon to celebrate Flavours of Herefordshire. The feedback from the businesses has been good and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. I hope that we can use the venue again in the future

Substantial Grounds

Our grounds are well laid out for larger scale events like festivals, fayres, product launches and company staff days. We also have a large marquee site that can be integrated to the house and sits neatly in the gardens. Helicopter landings can be done in several areas of the parkland.
